Vacancy Description: Our client is a leading, award winning global law firm with a strong markets focus. The IT Department is responsible for the delivery of all aspects of the Firm's Information Technology systems and services. This post sits within the IT Service Desk Team, which is responsible for providing and supporting IT services throughout the firm, with a focus on Service Request fulfilment and Incident resolution. The Team Leader role is integral to the success of Service Delivery operations. Reporting to the IT Service Desk Manager, the position is responsible for the day to day operational and staff management of the service desk and deskside teams based in EURO locations. The primary function of the role is to ensure that incidents and requests are handled by the Service Desk Team. Ensuring quality is at the highest levels and Global Major incidents are managed consistently and efficiently. This role is a key end user facing position and necessitates a collaboratively working style and a flexible and adaptable approach in a changing environment; taking ownership of agreed SLAs and ensuring a professional and high quality of service to users is expected. The role requires rapid response to requests to ensure minimal disruption to users. A proactive approach to all enquiries is required to ensure rapid resolution of issues and ensure the best experience for users when using IT services. Working with a team of Service Desk professionals the post holder will also provide secondary support to the Firm's global offices in line with a follow the sun approach. This role is a key end user facing position and necessitates working closely with other IT teams and managing the IT Service Desk to deliver a speedy, professional and high quality of service to users in a fast paced and challenging environment.
