Vacancy Description: Job Title: Panel Beater Location: East Ayrshire Hours of Work: 38 hours per week • Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00 • Friday: 08:30 – 15:00 Pay Rate: £16.00 – £19.00 per hour (depending on experience)

    Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Panel Beater to join our client’s workshop in East Ayrshire. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and a passion for high-quality craftsmanship. You will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicle bodywork to the highest standard, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with industry guidelines. Key Responsibilities • Carry out all panel beating and bodywork repairs on a range of vehicles. • Remove, repair, and replace damaged panels using the latest repair techniques. • Use welding, filling, and finishing skills to restore vehicles to manufacturer standards. • Work with precision to ensure alignment and structural integrity. • Operate relevant hand tools and workshop equipment safely and efficiently. • Ensure all work is completed within deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality. • Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times. • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to support smooth workshop operations.
      Skills & Experience Required • Proven experience as a Panel Beater in a body shop or repair centre. • Strong knowledge of modern repair techniques, including welding and body alignment. • Ability to work to deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • A proactive approach with a strong work ethic. • Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Body Repair) desirable but not essential.
