Job Description:

Job Purpose To carry out a wide range of grounds maintenance duties to ensure all sites are maintained to the highest standards of quality safety and customer satisfaction in line with AMC Landscapes company values and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grass cutting using pedestrian and ride-on mowers
  • Strimming edging and hedge cutting
  • Pruning shrubs and small trees
  • Weed control (manual and chemical where qualified)
  • Litter picking and general site clearance
  • Leaf clearance and seasonal duties
  • Planting (shrubs bedding plants trees)
  • Maintaining tools machinery and vehicles in good working order
  • Reporting defects hazards or site issues to the Team Leader
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with Health & Safety regulations

    Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance or similar outdoor role
  • Ability to operate landscaping machinery safely
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety practices

    Full UK driving licence

  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good timekeeping and reliability

    Desirable:

  • PA1 & PA6 spraying certificates
  • Ride-on mower experience
  • Horticultural qualification (Level 2 or equivalent)
